BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Beulah M. (Leach) Perrigo-Whitmarsh died Nov. 14, 2007, at St. Andrews Nursing Home, Boothbay Harbor, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 30, 1917, in Bucksport, the daughter of Harold A. Leach and Gladys (Moore) Leach. She lived in Orland for many years and North Wilmington, Mass., wintering in Orlando, Fla., where she and late husband, Winston Whitmarsh enjoyed playing golf. She was predeceased by her husband, Winston N. Whitmarsh, Feb. 22, 1997; and her son, Gary A. Perrigo, December 1966. Family members include sons, Joel F. and Claudette J. Perrigo of Manchester, N.H., and Leland S. and Ann Perrigo of Boothbay Harbor, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and special nieces, Barbara Gray of Bucksport, Maureen Gerow of Orland and Linda Capone of Portland. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Mitchell and Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. Burial will be held after at Oak Grove Cemetery, Orland, with the Rev. Peter Remick officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 975 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay and Mitchell & Tweedie Funeral Home, Bucksport.
