DOVER-FOXCROFT – Thelma B. Butler, 89, wife of the late Omar V. Butler, passed away peacefully Nov. 14, 2007, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born April 13, 1918, in Sangerville, the daughter of Eugene and Alice (True) Trefethen. She is survived by her son, Curtis Foster of Colbert, Ga.; her two daughters, Neila Smith of Toledo, Ohio, and Sandra Williams of Zurich, Switzerland; loving brother, Merlin Trefethen of Connecticut; her two sisters, Joyce Knowlton and Norma Hersey, both of Blanchard; her sister-in-law and great friend, Eileen Lind of Dover-Foxcroft; several grandchildren and great-grandchild-ren. Her passing was predeceased by her beloved pet dog, Trixie. Mrs. Butler was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and a sister. By request, there will be no services.
