CAMDEN – Beverly Alice Mank, 70, died the morning of July 6, 2007, peacefully at home, after a yearlong illness. She was born July 18, 1936, in Appleton. She graduated from Apple-ton High School in 1954. She attended business college in Rockland. On July 16, 1955, she married Ernest L. Mank of Camden. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage. They loved camping, dancing and snowmobiling. On July 16, 1971, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to share her hope with others. She wanted to thank all the friends and relatives who sent cards, made phone calls, visited and took care of her. She was predeceased by her father, Alba Maddock of West Rockport. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Mank of Camden; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Hilary Mank of Hope; her mother, Florence Maddock of Camden; a brother and sister-in-law, Bradley and Judy Maddock of Rockport; a brother-in-law and sister, James and Ferne Rice of Camden. Also surviving her are many cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. July 14, at King-dom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Rockport. A reception will be after at Watts Hall, Thomaston. Memorial donations may be made out to Watch Tower, for the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses and given to the family or sent to Jeffrey Mank, P.O. Box 322, West Rockport, ME 04865.
