HANCOCK – Beverly J. Boucher, 79, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Merced, Calif., the daughter of Wayne and May (Smith) Smith. Beverly enjoyed photography as a hobby, and also designing her own greeting cards to send people. She also liked watching birds and enjoyed the beauty of flowers. In her younger years, Beverly enjoyed fishing and camping and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert J. Boucher of Hancock; two children, Nan Boucher of the Portland area, and Dennis R. Boucher and his wife, Janet, of Cherryfield; and two grandsons, Michael Boucher of Midway City, Calif., and Randy Pagels of Cherryfield. Friends are invited to visit with the family 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth, with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
