OLD TOWN – Beverly M. Bouchard, 87, passed away Aug. 3, 2008. Beverly was born Oct. 5, 1920, daughter of Genevieve (Moors) and Frank Ashe. Beverly lived at Marsh Island Apartments. She worked at the Pentagon during World War II and became a military housewife. Beverly and Joseph H. Bouchard were married March 1943, in Washington D.C. After traveling all over, she came back to Maine in 1963. She worked at the University of Maine, Orono, for a short while and then started working with her husband at a Pub and Restaurant, Old Town. Ending her working career at Labree’s Shop in downtown Old Town, where she eventually retired from. Beverly loved to knit, play cribbage and was an avid reader. Beverly is survived by her two children, Karen Carr and her husband, Vern, of Milford and Jon Bouchard and his wife, Leanne, of Hampton, N.H.; her six grandchildren, Sherry Tripp, Tonya Dupuis, Joseph Walls, Douglas Walls, Danielle (Bouchard) Winters and Dom Bouchard; her seven great-grandchildren, Brandon Tripp, Hayley Tripp, Breanna Tripp, Joshua Gaskey, Cory Gaskey, Joseph Walls and Stephen Dupuis; and her great-great-grandchild, Skeilah Gaskey. Beverly is also survived by many relatives and friends, including her loved cousin and sister, Lucy Gardner; and her close friends Marcia Boutelle, Alfreda Savoy and Mary Libby. Beverly was predeceased by her parents; and her loving husband, Joseph H. Bouchard. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Holy Family Church, 429 Main St., Old Town. Family and friends are invited to remember Beverly at a luncheon immediately after the service at the parish hall. Services entrusted to Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
