HOULTON – Brian E. Bragan 56, died Dec. 5, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1949, at Island Falls, the son of Elbridge and Lydia (Brownlow) Bragan. Brian was a graduate of Dyer Brook High School, Class of 1966. He married Nancy Nadeau and they moved to Connecticut where he worked for John O’Lender Construction. They moved home and Brian worked in the family business for a year, then went back to driving truck which he did for 28 years. He ended his trucking career with S&S Trucking in Mars Hill, who he considered his second family. Brian is survived by his mother of Oakfield; his wife, Nancy Nadeau Bragan of Houlton; two sons, Brian Bragan Jr. and his wife, Molly and Tim Bragan and his wife, Theresa, all of Houlton; five grandchildren, Courtney, Mitchell, Josh, Jordan and his special side kick, Lauren; three sisters, Diane Clark and her husband, Dennis, of Houlton, Trudy Tarr and her husband, Joey, of Oakfield and Vickey Tilley of Littleton; special uncle, Ronald Brownlow and his wife, Priscilla; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close supportive friends. He was predeceased by his father and his brother-in-law, Percy (Junior) Tilley. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at Dunn Funeral Home. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Carver officiating.
