MAPLETON – Brian R. Raymond, 54, died Saturday morning, June 30, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1952, in Presque Isle, the son of Robert and Lois (Dean) Raymond. Brian retired from Columbia Forest Products, Presque Isle, after 30 years, due to a chronic illness. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brian loved to fish and hunt, and truly enjoyed the outdoors. He collected model trains and enjoyed setting them up and seeing them run. He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Pelletier) Raymond of Mapleton; a son, Leo Brian Raymond and his wife, Jennifer, of Fort Fairfield; a daughter, Eve Bull and her husband, Lawrence, of Ellsworth; his mother, Lois Cobb and her husband, John, of Ashland; three brothers and their wives, Paul and Ada Raymond of Masardis, Alan and Terry Raymond of Chapman and Donald and Sandra Raymond of Mapleton; sister, Karen Raymond of Chapman; four grand-children, Christian and Joshua and Trevor and Chantz; uncle and aunt, Elwood and Dorothy Dean of California; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bert and Lorette Pelletier of Fort Fairfield; sister-in-law, Brenda Hartley of Caribou; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his dad, Robert Raymond. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Relatives and friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service. A reception will be held immediately after the service in the reception room at the funeral home.
