BREWER – Bruce B. Newcomb, 62, died April 22, 2006, at his home in Brewer. He was born Dec. 23, 1943, in Bath, the son of Burton V. and Christine (Leavitt) Newcomb. Bruce was a graduate of Hermon High School and he worked as a manager for many different hotels and motels throughout Maine and in other states. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and cribbage, and could usually be found at one of the horse tracks in Maine. Surviving in addition to his mother of Bangor are two children, Eric Newcomb and his wife, Bonnie, of Etna and Heather Newcomb, also of Etna; two grandchildren, Ethan and Audrey Newcomb. Bruce requested that there be no funeral services. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
