ELLSWORTH – Bruce M. Brown, 70, died peacefully in his sleep, Sept. 14, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 10, 1934, in New York City, N.Y., the son of Alexander and Helen (Colassard) Brown. Bruce was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked for UPS for 23 years before retiring in 2002. He loved to fish and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Vickie (Morse) Brown of Ellsworth; two brothers, Alex and Douglas, both of California; two sons, Charlie Brown and Scott Brown, both of Michigan; one daughter, Ruthie Ehle of Michigan; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Marie Worden of Ellsworth, and brother-in-law, Donald Morse of Hancock. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Sept.17, 2004, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
