PASSADUMKEAG – Bruce W. Darling, 59, husband of Barbara (Springer) Darling, went home to be with the Lord, March 24, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Oct. 31, 1948, in Old Town, the son of Quinton W. and Phyllis (Stormann) Darling. Bruce worked for his special friend, Fremont Madden and more recently for Madden’s Timberlands of Passadumkeag. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Wesley and Bobby Darling. In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Tammy Ouellet and Dan of Pittsfield, and Rhonda Smart and Craig of Greenbush; two sisters, Stella Emery of Old Town and Mary Ann Doiron of Old Town; Wesley’s wife, Anna-Marie Darling of Old Town; five grandchildren, Adam, Cody, Dillon, Christopher and Courtney; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag.
