LEVANT – Callie Amber Brown, 24, was carried home on Angels wings April 9, 2005. She was born March 10, 1981 in Bangor. She is survived by her parents, Sheila and Bryan Batchelder of Levant; her father, Ronald Sweeney of Virginia; her brother, Joshua; her sister, Cayte, both of Levant; grandmother, Carolyn Brown of Veazie; grandfather, Norman Batchelder of Howland, grandparents, Sheila and Randy Vaillancourt of Howland; grandmother, Debbie Sweeney of Virginia; two aunt/godmothers, Susan Brown of Levant, Sharon Brown of Veazie; five aunts and uncles, Dawn Sweeney, Robert Sweeney both of Maryland, Emily Sweeney of Virginia, Rusty and Tina Batchelder of West Enfield, Sharon and Ron Wallace of Howland; great-aunt, Francina Thurlow of Orono; first cousins, Wallace, Missi, Jami, Cliff, Barbara, Amy, Robbie Jr., Heavin, Justin, Anthony, Eric, Dakota, Amanda and several second cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Stanley Brown; grandfather, Mack Sweeney; aunt Debbie Batchelder. She will be greatly missed by her dearest friends, Janis and Jay Leonard and family, Adam Farley, Amber Greenlaw, Jason Smith, Matt Page, Rob Russell, Danny Hatch, Jen Mayhew. May Callie be our Angel that carries us home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Patricia Moore, pastor of Veazie Congregational Church, officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until time of the service on Friday. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Veazie.
