MOUNT CHASE and CENTER OSSIPEE, N.H. – Calvin E. Botting, 56, went to be with the Lord Dec. 25, 2007. He was born Feb. 6, 1951, in Patten, the son of Lyman and Julia Botting. He graduated from Katahdin High School in 1969. Shortly after graduating, Cal entered the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Cal is survived by a special friend, Sharon Botting and their three children, Lindsay, Ryan and Mackenzie, who Cal loved above all; two brothers, Bernard and Lyman Botting; and six sisters, Lucille Miller, Judy Glidden, Fonda Burleigh, Gloria Dewitt, Darlah Arbo and Donna Sibley. In addition to his parents, Calvin was predeceased by one sister, Evelyn. Interment will be at Mount Chase Cemetery.
