WINDHAM – Camille E. Morneault, 86, of Robin Lane, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Maine Medical Center. Born in Lille, he was the son of Henry D. and Louise (Thibodeau) Morneault. He attended local schools and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maine Orono with a BS degree in agronomy. Mr. Morneault operated a family farm in Lille. In 1960, he began to work for the Maine State Seed Program as assistant director of operations in both Maine and Florida. He assumed position of director in the early 1970’s until his retirement in 1983. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, the school board and was a town councilman in Lille. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening and crafts. Camille was an extraordinary gentleman with a charismatic smile and was devoted to family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature. He touched all who had contact with him. He is predeceased by four brothers, Patrick, Adrian, Emilien and Angelo. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Alfreda of Windham; three daughters; Suanne M. Morgan of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Nancy L. Argraves of Windham and Martha J. Freeman of Celina, Texas; three brothers, Leo of Nevada, James of Connecticut and Louis of Maine; three sisters, Bertha Daigle of Florida, Annette Daigle and Jeanine Pelletier, both of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Sherry and Shannon Argraves, Justin and Erik Freeman; a step grandson, Lance Morgan and great-grandchildren, Steene and Jurnee Larsen. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., South Windahm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Route 302, Windham. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
