ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Carl D. Lindh, 74, passed away Nov. 1, 2005, at the Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Fla. of natural causes. A native of Manchester, N.H. and a local resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. since 2002, when he moved here from Mariaville. Carl was a retired staff sergeant Serving in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years in the Korean War and the Vietnam War, as a communications superintendent and then worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office and retired from there. S/Sgt. Lindh was a protestant; belonged to the American Legion; VFW, DAV and TREA. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Mark “Buzzy” Lindh of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Susan Lindh-Raymond of Bangor and Janice Laurion of Penacook, N.H.; two brothers, Frank Lindh Jr. of Milford, N.H. and Donald Lindh of Manchester, N.H.; two sisters, Arlene Riley of Center Conway, N.H. and Nancy Erskine of Winnoa, Texas; and three grandchildren, Scott Lindh and Justin and Tania Laurion. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Bethany Covenant Church, 1 Covenant Way, Bedford, N.H. with Pastor Robert Berguist and Military Honors by the U.S. Air Force Honors and Ceremonial Funeral Team, officiating.
