EAGLE LAKE – Carmen Michaud, 78, died June 6, 2006. She was born May 16, 1928, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of George and Ida (Daigle) Michaud. She worked for the Eagle Lake Nursing Home for more than 40 years, while caregiver to her parents for most of her life. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Eagle Lake. She is survived by two brothers, Geroge and his wife, Anne Marie, of Passadumkeag, and Leonard and his wife, Doris, of Maxfield; two sisters, Bernadette Simard of Eagle Lake and Estelle Aronson of East Harford, Conn.; two special friends, Fernand and Sandy Nadeau; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks goes to Michael and Geneva Michaud, Roy and Theresa Roalf, Buck Paradis and Ona Jean Bouchard for running their aunt’s errands for many years permitting her to live independently in her home. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Reginald, Joseph, Cyprien, Edmund and Bertrand Michaud; and a special niece, Terry Michaud. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours Saturday morning prior to the funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
