HANCOCK – Carol A. Webber, 64, died March 17, 2004, at her residence in Hancock. She was born Aug. 7, 1939, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Frank and Alice (Kelly) Flynn. Carol worked for many years at Alice’s Fashions in Ellsworth. She especially enjoyed going out dancing with many of her friends, who called themselves “The Golden Girls.” Carol had a wonderful sense of humor and was a fun loving person. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, James Webber; son, Michael Webber and his wife, Caroline, of Ellsworth; and a special friend, her cat “Gabby”. Memorial Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, with the Rev. James Wood presiding.
