ELLSWORTH – Carol F. (Beal) Davis, 78, died Feb. 10, 2004, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Lester W. and Inez A. (Garland) Beal. Carol graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1943. She was a member of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church. Carol was a wonderful mother in her younger years. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Davis and his wife, Mary Helen and Richard A. Davis and his wife, Marie, all of Ellsworth; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
