ORLAND – Carol F. (Pliner) Fearer, 63, passed away peacefully March 21, 2007, with her friend by her side, at a Blue Hill hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Wisconsin, to Frank and Olive (Powell) Pliner. Carol and her late husband, Bruce Fearer, formerly owned the Orland Market for years, and she had worked at Wal-Mart. She was involved in the Northern Caledonia Pipe Band as a drummer, enjoyed sewing and many other crafts. She is survived by a son, Robert Fearer and his wife, Candace, of Phoenix; one sister and one brother; special friends, Renie Ford of Hancock and Stephen and Deborah Aitken of Orland. Per Carol’s request, private interment will be at Riverview Cemetery, Bucksport.
