EASTON – Carolyn A. Brock, 61, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born July 26, 1945, in Easton, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Craig) Robbins. She loved harness racing, especially when her son-in-law’s horse raced, and dancing. She was a 20-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Hayward-Frazier Post No. 2599. She was a loving wife of 27 years, to her late husband, James W. Brock III, a wonderful mother and grandmother who always attended the functions of her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, James W. Brock IV and his wife, Terri, of Seiverville, Tenn., Julie (Brock) Condon and her husband, Jeff, of Easton, Susan Brock of Easton, Donald Brock and special companion, Darci Ladner, of Mars Hill, Virginia (Brock) Smith and her husband, Kent, of Easton, Becky (Brock) and special companion, Bruce Blodget, of Easton; grandchildren, James W. Brock V and Danielle Brock of Seiverville, Tenn., Ashley Holmes, AnaRae Holmes and Galen Holmes III of Easton, Anthony Brock and Sean Brock, both of Mars Hill, Jeremy Brock, Whitney Smith and Sydney Smith, all of Easton, Riley and Carter Mazerolle, both of Easton; a special companion of many years, John Greenier; half brothers, Dick and his wife, Karen, of Cross Lake, Randy and his wife, Bonnie, of Presque Isle, Sonny and his wife, Linda, of Easton; three sisters, Betty Brown of Easton, Sherri Robbins of Perth, Debbie Hersey of Easton, several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by a special aunt, Rita Henderson and her friend, Frank Brown. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a half brother, Tony Robbins. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Easton Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating.
