CROUSEVILLE – Carolyn D. Dean, 92, wife of the late Arnold Dean died April 18, 2005, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1912, in Washburn, the daughter of Charles and Flora Smith. She attended Dunntown Advent Christian Church in Washburn. Mrs. Dean enjoyed knitting. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Day of Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ada McCrossin of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene Smith and Ben Smith; a sister, Lula Wood; and her son-in-law, Keith L. Day. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
