HOLDEN – Carolyn J. Bidwell, known to her friends and family as CJ, passed away on Oct. 2, 2004, at Bangor following a lengthy battle with cancer. CJ was born on Feb. 9, 1942, in Hartford, Conn., the daughter of Frederick and Elsie (Colli) Bidwell. She is survived by her mother, and by friends, Julie Harris, Darlene Henderson, Julie Jones, and Suzanne Spruce. At her request, there will be no visitation or service. Following cremation, her friends will take her ashes to a place that was near and dear to CJ. She also asked that those wishing to remember her in a special way may make a contribution to the Bangor Humane Society, the Brewer Public Library, or to Bangor City Nursing and Rehab.
