FRANKLIN – Peter Augustus Boucar, 60, died at his home Oct. 1, 2004, in Franklin. He was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Willimantic, Conn., the son of Joseph C. and Phoebe F. (Geer) Boucar. He will be sadly missed. Peter enjoyed tinkering with clocks and worked as a mechanic for Westside Auto in Southwest Harbor for 18 years. Peter is survived by two sons, Peter G. Boucar and his wife, Mary, of Franklin and Christopher J. Boucar of Eastbrook; a brother, Joseph Boucar and his wife, Madelyn, of Andover, Conn.; three grandchildren, John Michael, David and Christopher Boucar; a nephew, Steven Boucar; and a special friend, Debbie Barber of Franklin. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where the funeral will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, with the Rev. James F. Heard officiating. Interment will be at Bayview Cemetery, Franklin.
