BRADLEY – Carroll E. Trimm, 75, passed away Wed-nesday, June 13, 2007, at a Ban-gor hospital. He was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Charleston, the son of Henry and Hazel (Bickmore) Trimm. Carroll was in the 23rd Infantry of the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1959, having served in Korea and Panama. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, Orono, as a carrier. Carroll was a member of many lodges and organizations, including Old Town VFW No. 3381, Cooties No. 3381, Orono Masonic No. 66 and was a past master, Anah Shrine, Old Town Elks, Korean Burton Lodge and the Grey Beards Korea. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Delia (Hamel) Trimm; four sons, Frederick Trimm and his wife, Dawn, Stephen Trimm and his wife, Betty, Ronald Trimm and his wife, Michelle, and Merle Trimm and his wife, Cindy; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Ardith. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers and one sister, two grandsons, one great-grandson; and one stepson, Leo St. Germain. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday with a Masonic service 7:30 p.m. at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating.
