ISLAND FALLS – Bonnie Bishop, 59, died June 13, 2007, with her family at her side at her home. She was born May 1, 1948, in Island Falls, the daughter of Lewis “Pelick” and Bessie (Strait) Hosford. Bonnie was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, worked at Katahdin Trust for 18 years and Kathadin Federal Credit Union, and was a certified insurance agent working for Randy Lincoln Agency. In addition to her mother of West Enfield, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rodney Bishop of Island Falls; three daughters, April Dawn Bishop and her daughter, Taylor Renay, of Oakfield; Melanie Lynne Bishop of Westbrook and Tracy Bishop and her children, Tony, Tara and Travis; one son, Troy Bishop and his sons, Daniel, Dustin and Levi, of Smyrna Mills; two brothers, Richard and his wife, Emily Hosford, of Island Falls and David Hosford of West Enfield; one sister, Patricia Drost and her husband, Gary, of West Enfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Darlene Pagtakhan, Muriel Fogg and Pearl Main; special friend, Jackie Desmond. She was predeceased by her father, Lewis. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with the Fr. Eddy Morin, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the American Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, Visiting Nurses of Aroostook or Hospice of Aroostook, care of Bowers Funeral Home, P.O.
