OLD TOWN – Catherine Elaine (Fayle) Muller, 86, passed way July 5, 2007. She was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Old Town, the daughter of Mortimer and Margaret (Connors) Fayle. Catherine enjoyed her family, people, knitting and laughing. She attended Old Town schools and business school in Bangor. Catherine worked for the state department in Washington, D.C., where she met her husband, Herbert, and moved back to Old Town, where they raised their family. Catherine is survived by her children, Gerald and his wife, Diane, of Bridgewater, Mass., Margaret Dumont and her husband, Michael, of Old Town, John and his wife, Judith, of Old Town and Karen Jellison and her husband, Richard, of Milford; and six grandchildren, David, Andrew, and Sarah Muller, Danielle, Paul and Jessica Dumont. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert; sister, Frances Davis; and brother, Donald. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Interment will be after at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Catherine’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Ritter and the staff at Old Town Family Practice, as well as the staff at The Meadows for their excellent care, support and love.
