JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Cathy B. Griffith, 48, passed away peacefully Sept. 4, 2006, surrounded by her children, at home. She was born April 17, 1958, in Jonesport, to William A. Blackwood and Janice Bailey. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Amy Wright and her fiance, Dan Caldwell, Erin Wright and Katelyn Griffith; son, Michael Jr.; sister, Debbie Austin and her husband, Jack; granddaughters, Sarah and Danielle. Cathy truly loved her children and granddaughters, family was most important to her. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at St. Catherine’s Episcopal.
