PATTEN – Cecile Irene (Hicks) Dickinson, 74, died Nov. 15, 2005, in Portland. She was born June 21, 1931, in Athens, Tenn., the daughter of Levon and Pearl (Moses) Hicks. Cecile was very proud of Leo’s love, for she spoke of it to the nurses on the day she passed away. Leo is loved and supported by their many children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Leo Dickinson of Patten, who loved and cared for his wife for 50 years; her children, Betty and Rodney Willette of Island Falls; and their children, Debbie and Chris Johnson of Oakfield; and their son, Brandon; Vicky Willette and Steve Rappeport of Farmington, N.H., Charles Willette of Bangor; and his daughters, Hailey, Jacy and Lilly; Wanda and Wayne Willett of Patten; and their children, Eric and Christina Willett of Charlestown, R.I.; and their children, Maxwell and Lucie; Tony and Marsha Willett of Dexter and their children, Mersia and Dregon; Sherry and Weldon Smith of Leland, N.C.; Jeffery Cheesman of Leland, N.C.; and their children, Spencer and Makayla; Melissa Cheesman of Leland, N.C.; and her children, Zachary, Ana and Cecila; Shawn Cheesman of Titusville, Fla.; Steve and Kathy Huckabey of Athens, Tenn.; and their children, Russell and Fran Huckabey of Athens, Tenn.; and his children, Nicholas, Justin and Laura; Laura Beth Huckabey of Athens, Tenn.; and her children, Quinn and Paris; Dianthe and Thomas Robinson Jr. of Benedicta; their children, Erica, Ryan and Chris; Cindy and Dan Qualey of Benedicta; and their children, Dustin, Jordan and Ethan; Mary and Carroll Bates of Patten; and their children, Carroll Jr. and Ryan; her brothers, Herman and Sue Hicks, David and Pat Hicks; sisters, Nellie Martin, Marie Swilley, Sally and David Rogers, Brenda and Tommy Patton, all of Athens, Tenn.; and her special friends, Tom and Mary Lou Cunningham of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her great-grandson, Zachary Cheesman; sister, Helen Malone; brothers-in-law, Ray Swilley and Ted Martin; and special friend, Uncle Fred. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tae Sung Kang officiating.
