MADAWASKA – Cecile P. Cyr, 73, died July 31, 2004, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born Aug. 1, 1930, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Arthur and Yvette (Ouellette) Plourde. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Cyr of Madawaska; one daughter, Eva Michaud of Mechanic Falls; two sons, Roger Cyr of Madawaska, and John Paul Cyr of Auburn; one brother, Roger (Bea) Plourde of Madawaska; two sisters, Rachel Rouleau of Madawaska, and Juliette “Julie” Cyr of St. Agatha; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two nieces, Michelle Plourde and Theresa Beaulieu. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Monday and from 1 p.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
