BANGOR – Charles Atwood Robertson, 70, died Nov. 16, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility, after a long, brave battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Brewer, the son of Calvin Thomas and Louine Evelyn (Atwood) Robertson. Charles graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1953. He was a former member of the Ralph J. Pollard Lodge No. 207 AF & AM of Orrington. Charles retired from the Nestle Company after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Eunette (Goodell) Robertson; four children, Angela J. Rice and husband, Charles, of Holden, Thomas C. Robertson of Milford, David M. Robertson of Manchester, N.H. and Jeffrey E. Robertson and wife, Louise, of Bangor; seven grandchildren, Renee, Shawn, Tarah, Darek, Sarah, Samantha, and Amber; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Raven; a sister, Barbara O’Connor of Portland; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, with Pastor John Mills, Assistant Pastor of Calvary Chapel, officiating.
