CARIBOU – Charles E. Maxeiner, 81, died Jan. 16, 2008, at his residence, after a long illness. Charles was a retired staff sergeant, serving with the U.S. Air Force for many years. He was also a retired civil service employee, working at Loring Air Force Base for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Bourgoine) Maxeiner of Caribou. A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Louis Cemetery, Limestone.
