BREWER and HOLDEN Chester A. Lambert, 60, husband of the late Claudia (Kosty-Kostenko) Lambert, died April 26, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1947, in Brunswick, the son of Howard B. and Claira (Severance) Lambert. Chester served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea during the Vietnam era and was a long-time resident of Brewer. He was a hard worker, who made his living as a woodcutter and truck driver most of his life. He is survived by four children, Peggy Grover and her husband, Howard, of Orrington, Michael Conklin and his wife, Denise, of Newburgh, Mark Lambert and Amanda Morse of Holden and Heidi Lambert of Corinth; five grandchildren, Shannon, Crystal, Michelle, Desiree and Dakota; three sisters, Gail Spooner and her husband, Carroll, of Bar Harbor, Phyllis Wilson of Massachusetts and Ramona Peters and her husband, Paul, of Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Chester had a second family, including many other siblings. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, with Pastor Joe Brown, presiding.
