Texas and WINTERPORT Tommie Lee Hill passed away April 12, 2008, in Conroe, Texas. Mr. Hill was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Polk County, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army for four years and for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the military as a tech sergeant. Tommie is survived by his daughters, Carol and husband, George Kelley, of Bew Wheeler, Texas, and Gladys and husband, Philip Flewelling, of Winterport; sons, David and Thomas of Texas; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Services were held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Waco, Texas.
