RIDGEWOOD, N.J. and BANGOR – Christian Rae Estes passed peacefully on the day of his birth, Feb. 2, 2007, in Ridgewood, N.J. He was the beautiful son of Timothy W. Estes, previously of Bangor and Rachel A. Estes, previously Rachel Robbins of Millinocket and baby brother of Timothy Jordan “TJ” Estes. Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Stanton and Marilyn Lander; maternal great-grandparents, Herbert and Dolores Goetschius and Doris Robbins; paternal grandparents, Ben and Susan Estes; paternal great-grandparents, Iris M. Black and Newman and Marge Stewart; in addition to many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal great-grandfather, the Rev. Bernard W. Black; and maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Lander. When someone comes into our lives and they are too quietly and quickly gone, they leave footprints on our hearts, and their memory stays with us forever. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Roland Nadeau, Roman Catholic chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital, officiating.
