SUMMERFIELD, Fla. – Christine E. Reardon, 65, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Port St. Lucie, Fla. She was born in Hall Quarry, and had been a resident of Florida for 21 years coming from Stockton Springs. Christine graduated from Hermon High School. She loved Nascar racing, Sunday crossword puzzles and her bird, Jamie Chea. The time she spent with her family, and especially her granddaughter, was very precious to her. Christine was a hairdresser for many years having most recently been employed with Hair Express in The Villages, Fla., for three years. She was predeceased by her father, Archie Reed; husband, James Reardon; brother, Doug Reed; and her sister, Connie Morin. Survivors include her mother, Catherine Reed of Bangor; two daughters, Catherine Hayward and husband, Ervin, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Chandra Hodgdon and husband, Terry, of Stockton Springs; three sisters Nancy Chase and husband, Richard, of Williamstown, Vt., Lois Tibbetts and husband, Roscoe, of Palmetto, Fla., Tharon Carmichael of Rockland; three brothers, Gilbert Reed and wife, Marie, of Carmel, Neal Reed and wife, Shirley, of The Villages, Fla., Allan Reed and wife, Carol, of North Attleboro, Mass.; and her granddaughter, the love of her life, Whitney Chea Hodgdon of Stockton Springs. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at the Stockton Springs Community Church, Stockton Springs. In lieu of flowers contributions in Christine’s memory may be made to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie Inc., 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
