ELLSWORTH and PROSPECT POINT – Faith A. Brooks, 73, wife of the late John W. Brooks, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Lewistown, Pa., the daughter of Edward E. and Martha E. (Duch?) Willis. Faith was a registered nurse since 1958, and a member of the Nurses Health Study at Harvard Medical School since 1976. She is survived by three nephews, Jerome Meiswick of Ridgely, Md., Jack McGill and Anthony McGill; a niece, Melody McGill; two grandnieces, Kristin Gholson and Haley Green, all of Michigan. In addition to her husband, Faith, was predeceased by a sister, Virginia McGill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Scott Mower presider. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
