FRENCHVILLE – Clara Gervais, 76, died June 26, 2007, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Rene and Elise (Blanchard) Dumond. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and Cursillo and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 145 of Frenchville, and Columbiettes of Fort Kent. She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Madawaska, and Gary and his wife, Brenda, of Fort Kent; a special grandson, Ricky and special friend, Karen, of Frenchville; four daughters, Noella Gervais of Frenchville, Linda and her husband, Joel Theriault of Fort Kent, Patsy and her husband, Glenn Voisine, of Frenchville, Donna and her husband, Dave Voisine, of Fort Kent; 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cindy, Stacie, Lisa, Kendall, Lance, Brad, Krysta, Jamie, Holly, Scott; eight great-grandchildren, Lydia, Jaclyn, Austin, Layne, Unessa, Reuben, Meagan, and Nicholas; two brothers, Camille of Lakewater, Fla., and Edward of Bristol, Conn.; five sisters, Dora Berube of St. John, Nora Hebert of West Lakeworth, Fla., Lena Belanger, Gertrude and her husband, Edmond Szrejna, and Robertine Long, all of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; and six brothers, Norman, Clarence, Robert, Henry, Gilbert, and Leonide. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 28, and 8:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Luce Cemetery.
