HOULTON – Clarence A. Pangburn Jr., 66, died Jan. 9, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born April 7, 1938, at Fort Fairfield, the son of Clarence A. and Helen (Parks) Pangburn. Clarence was a graduate of the University of Maine Presque Isle and worked as a carpenter in the Houlton area and in California. He is survived by his mother of Ludlow; children, Christopher Pangburn of Presque Isle, Colleen Wipperman of Connecticut, Helen McShea of Fort Fairfield, Allan Pangburn of California, Scott Hannan of Connecticut, Daniel Pangburn of California, Wayne Hannan of Connecticut, Allan Pangburn II of Canada, Dorothy Forbes of Connecticut, Mark Hannan of California, Celina Pangburn of California; several grandchildren; five brothers, Terrence Pangburn of Holden, Stephen Pangburn of Ludlow, Roger Pangburn of Escondido, Calif., Dana Pangburn of Marietta, Ga., Craig Pangburn of Ludlow; three sisters, Sandra P. Henderson of Littleton, Mary Jane Tanguay of Spokane, Wash., Linda Pence of Santa Monica, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Services will be announced in the spring.
