VAN BUREN – Clarence Grivois, 72, died Jan. 24, 2004, at his Van Buren residence. He was born April 26, 1931, in Lille, the son of Joseph and Marie (Levesque) Grivois. Clarence worked in road construction for various companies throughout his career, retiring after working for Ed Pelletier and Sons Co. several years ago. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delia (Labreck) Grivois of Van Buren; three sons, David “Steve” Grivois and his wife, Arlene, of Lille, Gordon Grivois and his wife, Velma, of Van Buren, and Donald Grivois, also of Van Buren; two daughters, Doreen Rodizza and her husband, Dorian, of Grantham, N.H.; Sandra Grivois of Van Buren; one sister, Marie Mae Labreck of Caswell; six grandchildren, Tabitha, April, Danielle, Audrey, Dominic and Cody; one great-granddaughter, Alexis. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High St., Van Buren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the Grande Riviere Cemetery.
