MADAWASKA and ST. AGATHA – Claudette Dugal, 74, died May 12, 2006, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born July 29, 1931, the daughter of Octave and Rose (St. Pierre) Dumont. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, volunteer at High View Manor, Les Femmes Chretienn and the Quilting Guild. Claudette loved to host and go to yard sales. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cecil J.; two sons, Robert and his wife, Rachel and Andrew, both of Madawaska; one daughter, Lisa Ouellette of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Chelsea, Alyssa, Stephanie, Emily Dugal, Katie and Kyle Ouellette; and one brother, the Rev. Claude Dumont of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Maurice. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Burial in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
