SHERMAN – Clayton L. McNally Sr., 78, husband of the late Helen Perry McNally, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005, after a long illness. Born Oct. 1, 1927, in Island Falls, he was the son of Albert and Minnie (Lagasse) McNally. After growing up in Island Falls, he moved to California, where he worked as a carpenter for 14 years. He completed his working years as a carpenter in Connecticut, after which he and Helen retired to Sherman. He is survived by four children, Cary McNally, Annette DiPerno, Clayton L. McNally Jr. and Albert McNally, as well as; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005, at the Bowers Funeral Home.
