FRENCHVILLE – Clifford “Bee” Morin, 72, died peacefully Oct. 23, 2006, at his residence. He was born Sept. 26, 1934, in Fort Kent, the son of Elie and Marie (Guerette) Morin. Bee was a member of the Frenchville Volunteer Fire Department for 29 years. He also belonged to the Frenchville ATV Club. Bee farmed from 1957 to 1988 and drove truck from 1958 to 1997. Farming was his life and one of his favorite pastimes was gardening. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Eliette (Roy) Morin of Frenchville; four children, Sara and her husband, Donald Jackson, of Venice, Fla., Brenda and her husband, Brian Thibeault, of Frenchville, Paula and her husband, Eric Bouchard, of Fort Kent and Paul and his wife, Judy Morin, of Frenchville; eight grandchildren, that he adored, Darci and Marc Jackson, Brad, Breanna and Brent Thibeault, Heather and Adam Bouchard and Chantal Morin; two brothers, Melford and his wife, Gisele Morin, of Berlin, Conn., and Donald and his wife, Noella Morin, of Unionville, Conn.; two sisters, Rena and her husband, Gary Baily, of Madawaska and Nancy and her husband, John Daigle, of Fort Kent; two sisters-in-law, Ann Morin of Newington, Conn., and Irma Morin of Fort Kent; many nieces and nephews. In addition to both his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Elie Jr., Berthier, Leo and Richard Morin; and two nephews, David and Danna Morin. Friends may call 8-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Richard Ouellette officiating. At the families request in lieu of flowers, those who wish in his memory may donate to the Edgar J. “Guy” Paradis Cancer Fund, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
