BLAINE – Clifford E. Beals, 91, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at a Mars Hill nursing home. He was born July 10, 1912, in Blaine, on the family farm where his other siblings were also born. He was the son of Archie and Ellen (Brown) Beals. Clifford lived and worked on the family farm until his retirement in 1970. He attended the First Free Baptist Church of Blaine all of his life until he went to the Southern Acres Residential Care Facility for six years. He is survived by a sister, Mary Beals Kunz and her husband, Cleon, of West Hartford, Conn.; a brother, Maurice of Blaine; many nieces, nephews and cousins. At the family’s request funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at Tapley Cemetery in Blaine.
