BANGOR – Constance Ruth (Berry) Williams, 58, died Oct. 3, 2003, at her home in Bangor. She was born Jan. 20, 1945, in Houlton, the daughter of Charles (Burpee) Berry and Ruth York Berry. She was a registered nurse, and earned honors for her work in pediatric intensive care at Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City, N.J. Connie also worked as a dedicated caregiver at several Maine institutions while she was raising her children and throughout her life. She was a profound bibliophile, and possessed a keen wit with a wonderful sense of humor. She had great love for her children, her grandchildren, her pets, and her plants. Connie was a loving mother and is survived by her two daughters, Robyn S. Futcher and husband, Capt. Scott Futcher, of Penobscot, and Allyson S. Tuite and husband, Sean Tuite, of Bangor; one brother, Charles H. Berry of Bellevue, Wash.; four grandchildren, Scott, Andrew, Hallee, and Madeline; a niece; two nephews, and several cousins, including Harriette Watson Litchfield of Florham Park, N.J. Services will be private. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton. Those who desire may make contributions in Connie’s memory to the Blue Hill Public Library, P.O.
