LIMESTONE – Cora E. Cote, 97, wife of the late Warren J. Cote, died Nov. 25, 2006, in Caribou. She was born July 12, 1909, in Caswell, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Willard) Turner. Mrs. Cote was employed as a cook at the Base Exchange at Loring Air Force Base for many years. After her retirement, she owned and operated a bakery in Limestone and will be fondly remembered her for her delicious doughnuts. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She is survived by four sons, Robert J. Cote of Wolcott, Conn., Richard V. Cote and his wife, Alice, of Hermon, Roger H. Cote and his wife, Elaine, of Plymouth, Conn., and William Cote of Limestone; two daughters, Joann G. Stevens of Gallatin, Tenn., and Judith A. Ouellette of Hermon; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Cote of Brewer; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grand-children, nine great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cote was predeceased by her husband, Warren in 1991; and a son, Sheldon in 1987. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at St. Louis Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery.
