BAR HARBOR and ELLSWORTH – Corinne T. Carr, 78, died Nov. 20, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 12, 1928, in Brewer, the daughter of Reginald J. and Helena (Preble) Buskee. Corinne was a caretaker at the Legion House, Bar Harbor for years. She also worked as a clerk in a number of grocery stores. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Bar Harbor and a member of the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Bar Harbor. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert; three daughters, Beverly Anderson and husband, Thomas, of Ellsworth, Mary Silk of Bar Harbor and Barbara Downs and husband, Lance, of Brooks; a son, Robert Carr and wife, Patricia, of Milford; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Helena Goode of Lake Wales, Fla.; one niece and one nephew. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor. Those who wish may make contributions in Corrine’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
