CARIBOU – Corrine Rose Marie Richards, 72, wife of the late John Richards, died Feb. 8, 2007, in Caribou, after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1934, in Caribou, the daughter of Edmund and Louise (Bouchard) St. John. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Corrine is survived by her stepdaughter, Doreen Strout and her husband, Ted, of Levant; four brothers, Edward St. John and his wife, Gwen, of Presque Isle, Conrad St. John and his wife, Marie, of St. Francis, David St. John and his wife, Corrine, and Leo St. John, all of Caribou; two sisters, Irene Drost and Lily Searles and her husband, Wendell, all of Caribou; two stepgrandchildren; a very special aunt, who Corrine lived with in her early days as a child, Bertha Clavette of Madawaska, many nieces and nep-hews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joel St. John; and a sister, Bertha Gagnon. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb, 12, from the chapel of Mockler Funeral Home, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will take place at Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
