ISLAND FALLS and BANGOR – Cyril M. Drew, 84, died Jan. 18, 2008, in Bangor. He was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Dyer Brook, the son of Cyril M. Drew Sr. and Gladys Goode. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He is survived by one son, Joel and his wife, Babbette Drew, of Howland; six grandchildren; one sister, Althea Given of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel; one son, Erik; one infant daughter, Lisa; a brother, Leonard; and a sister, Geraldine Mitchell. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
