HAVERHILL, MASS. – D. Cliff Nicholson, 51, died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 18, 2004, at his home. Born in Camden, Feb. 14, 1953, he had been a resident of Haverhill since 1988 and previously of Newburyport, Mass. He was educated in the Bangor school system and was a graduate of Bangor High School. He was a graduate of Husson College, Bangor, University of Maine, Orono and received a certificate from Northeastern University, Boston. He had been employed by the Olivetti Corporation, Boston, Wang Corporation for 17 years, Eastern Kodak and IBM, Westford since 1998. He is the son of Dwight C. and Harriett (Lawrence) Nicholson of Portland. He is survived by his wife, Gayle A. Tabbi of Haverhill; his one daughter, Alyssa Nicholson of Nashua, N.H.; stepson, Jason M. Sakash of Norfolk, Va.; one sister, Paulette Ferguson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and two nieces. A memorial service will be at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are by the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill.
