BANGOR – On Feb. 1, 2008, the angels came to take our angel, D. Jeannette Crandall, to be with her heavenly family. She was born March 17, 1924, in Brownville Junction, to Frances O’Leary. She was raised by her loving grandparents, Leland and Alice Marsh. She married her high school sweetheart, Joseph Rem? Crandall. She was a Sunday school teacher, and grocery store and postal clerk. She was a talented knitter, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a “nanny” to friends and family. She is survived by her children, Kim Leonard and Kirk Crandall; special son-in-law, Tom Leonard; grandchildren, Chad Leonard and wife, Gina, Derek Leonard and fianc?e, Kyleen Allen, Megan Leonard, Joey Crandall and fianc?e, Jessica, Jason Crandall and fianc?e, Amanda Ray; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Leonard, Tyler and Tiara Smith, and Dylan Leighton; sister, Vicki Jardine and husband, Bob; brother-in-law, James Crandall and wife, Brenda; sisters-in-law, Joyce Sullivan and Mary-Lou Hatt; a special niece, Cheryl Pelletier and husband, David; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mary Freeman and Janet Thurston. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; a sister, Alice Page; and two brothers, Edward Marsh and Donald Hatt. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed. You taught us how to be strong! No matter what life throws us – we know how to go on! A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Morgan Hill, Route 2, Hermon. The family would also like to thank the staff at Brewer Rehab & Living Center, nurses and CNA’s, especially Danielle, Jessica, Matt and FNP Lisa Buchanan.
