WILIMINGTON, ILL – Dallas Elisa (Lane) Buza, 94, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at Embassay Care Center in Wilmington, Ill. She was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Woodstock, N.Y., to the late Emerson and Lillian (Cole) Lane. Dallas was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wilmington. She was a graduate of Practical Bible Training School, Johnson City, N.Y. Dallas, along with her husband, served as missionaries in New York, Pennsylvania, Maine and Guatemala, Central America. She also ran the Good News Children’s Club in her home for many years. Surviving are three sons, Joe Buza and his wife, Lois, of Wilmington, Ill., Wayne Buza and his wife, Brenda, of Glenburn and Carlin Buza of Sedgewickville, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Leslie Lane of New York; two sisters, Betty Hill and Nancy Kellerhouse, both of New York; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Robert F. Buza; six brothers and two sisters. Funeral arrangements will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, with the Rev. Andrew Morton, officiating. Interment at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery in Braceville, Ill. The visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
